Security and authentication

This resolver can be configured for different protocols.

Granting access using the OAuth 2.0 protocol enables 2FA (two-factor authentication) or certificate-based authentication.

Communication

The 3DEXPERIENCE D365 FO Connector uses OData (open data protocol), a standard protocol based on REST (representational state transfer) web services for creating and consuming data.

OData applies web technologies such as HTTP/S and JSON (JavaScript object notation).

OData is an ISO/IEC-approved, OASIS standard, ISO/IEC 20802-1:2016 (OData 4.0 Protocol) and ISO/IEC 20802-2:2016 (OData 4.0 JSON Format).
